En protokol til syntetisering af guldnanpartikler med en diameter på ~12 nm (Au nanopartikler) i et organisk opløsningsmiddel præsenteres. Guld nanopartiklerne er udjævnet med oleylamin ligands for at forhindre agglomeration. Guld nanopartiklerne er opløselige i organiske opløsningsmidler såsom toluen.
