Er is een workflow ontworpen voor het maken van driedimensionale (3D) virtuele hybride modellen op basis van cone-beam computertomografiedataset en intraorale optische scans met behulp van radiografische beeldsegmentatiemethoden en modellering van het oppervlak in vrije vorm. Digitale modellen worden gebruikt voor de virtuele planning van reconstructieve dentoalveolaire chirurgische ingrepen.
