Ett arbetsflöde för att skapa tredimensionella (3D) virtuella hybridmodeller har utformats baserat på konstråledatortomografidatauppsättning och intraorala optiska skanningar med hjälp av radiografiska bildsegmenteringsmetoder och ytmodellering i fri form. Digitala modeller används för virtuell planering av rekonstruktiva dentoalveolära kirurgiska ingrepp.
