Den nuværende protokol beskriver fremstillingen af poly(mælkesyre-co-glycolsyre)-baserede meget åbne porøse mikrosfærer (HOPM'er) via den enkeltemulsionsformuleringsbaserede letkøbte mikrofluidiske teknologi. Disse mikrosfærer har potentielle anvendelser inden for vævsteknik og lægemiddelscreening.
