Se presenta un protocolo para la cuantificación citométrica de flujo fluorescente de células cancerosas senescentes inducidas por fármacos de quimioterapia en cultivo celular o en modelos tumorales murinos. Los procedimientos opcionales incluyen la co-inmunotinción, la fijación de muestras para facilitar el análisis de lotes grandes o puntos de tiempo, y el enriquecimiento de células senescentes viables mediante clasificación citométrica de flujo.
