Met behulp van ovo-elektroporatie hebben we een methode ontwikkeld om selectief het auditieve binnenoor en de cochleaire kern in kippenembryo's te transfecteren om een celgroepspecifieke knockdown van fragiele X mentale retardatie-eiwit te bereiken tijdens discrete perioden van circuitassemblage.
