Om efficiënt adjuvantia rationeel te ontwerpen, ontwikkelden we poly-melkzuur-co-glycolzuur nanodeeltjes-gestabiliseerde Pickering-emulsie (PNPE). De PNPE bezat unieke zachtheid en een hydrofobe interface voor krachtig cellulair contact en bood antigeenbelasting met een hoog gehalte, waardoor de cellulaire affiniteit van het afgiftesysteem voor antigeen-presenterende cellen werd verbeterd en efficiënte internalisatie van antigenen werd geïnduceerd.
