Antibiotisk persistens beskriver små subpopulationers evne inden for en følsom isogen population til forbigående at tolerere høje doser bakteriedræbende antibiotika. Denne protokol kombinerer tilgange til at karakterisere antibiotisk persistensfænotype på molekylært og cellulært niveau efter udsættelse af Escherichia coli for dødelige doser ofloxacin.
