Mevcut protokol, biyouyumlu lipozomlar üretmek için mikroakışkan bir teknik olan oktanol yardımlı lipozom montajını (OLA) tanımlamaktadır. OLA, verimli kapsülleme ile monodispersed, mikron boyutunda lipozomlar üretir ve anında çip üzerinde deneylere izin verir. Bu protokolün sentetik biyoloji ve sentetik hücre araştırmaları için özellikle uygun olması beklenmektedir.
