De micro-ontleed explantaten techniek is een robuuste en betrouwbare methode voor het isoleren van proliferatieve skeletspieren cellen van jonge, volwassen of embryonale spieren als bron van skeletspieren stamcellen. Uniek, zijn deze cellen zijn klonaal ontleend aan de skeletspieren stamcellijnen gebruikt voor in vivo transplantatie te produceren.
