Beschrijven we een Flippase-geïnduceerde intersectionele Gal80/Gal4 repressie (FINGR)-methode, waardoor weefsel-specifieke Forever om Gal80 expressiepatronen te bepalen. Waar Gal4 en FLP elkaar overlappen, is Gal4 uitdrukking ingeschakeld (Gal80 omgedraaid out) of uit (Gal80 gespiegeld in). De FINGR methode is veelzijdig voor klonale analyse en neurale circuit in kaart brengen.
