Ein alternativer Weg zur Isolierung von embryonalen Maus-Motoneurone aus dem Rückenmark beschrieben. Die Methode berücksichtigt die Tatsache, dass Lektin kann die geringe Affinität nerve growth factor receptor p75NTR binden. Das Lektin-basierte preplating ermöglicht eine Reinigung ähnlich wie mit einem spezifischen Antikörper gegen das p75NTR.
