We ontwikkelden nieuwe intrinsieke multifunctionele nanovesicles genaamd porphysomes, welke structuur-afhankelijke fluorescentie zelf-afschrikken en unieke fotothermische eigenschappen hebben, waardoor het als krachtige fotothermisch therapie agenten. We formuleerden porphysomes behulp van hoge druk extrusie en onderzocht hun fotothermische therapie werkzaamheid bij een xenograft tumor model.
