Menneskelige tumorxenoplantater i immunsvækkede mus er værdifulde værktøjer til at studere kræft biologi. Særlige protokoller til at generere subkutane og intrahepatiske xenotransplantater fra humane levercellecancer celler eller tumor fragmenter er beskrevet.
