Menschen Tumorxenotransplantaten in immundefizienten Mäusen sind wertvolle Werkzeuge, um Krebsbiologie zu studieren. Spezifische Protokolle subkutane und intra-Heterotransplantate aus menschlichen Leberzellkarzinom-Zellen oder Tumorfragmente zu erzeugen, werden beschrieben. Leberregeneration nach partieller Hepatektomie in Empfängermäuse induziert wird, als eine Strategie, um intra-Transplantation zu erleichtern präsentiert.
