Microplastica fungeren als vector van potentieel toxische organische verontreinigingen met onvoorspelbare effecten. Dit protocol beschrijft een alternatieve methodologie voor het beoordelen van de niveaus van organische chloorpesticiden die geadsorbeerd zijn op plastic pellets en de polymerische chemische structuur identificeren. De focus ligt op drukvluchtige extractie en verzwakte totale reflectie Fourier transform infrarood spectroscopie.
