'Super selektiv' adrenal venøs prøvetaking (ssAVS, også kalt Segmentinformasjon adrenal venøs prøvetaking: sAVS) ble utført ved hjelp av en mikro-kateter for å identifisere adrenal segment (e) som produserer store mengder av hormoner. SsAVS teknikken ble beskrevet tilfeller der adrenal Segmentinformasjon lesion(s) ble identifisert av ssAVS ble presentert og nytten av ssAVS i fremtidige adrenal forskning ble diskutert.
