En i vitro metode for å etablere to motstand mot en EGFR-TKI og en MET-TKI i kreftcellene er beskrevet. Denne metoden er nyttig for utvikle behandlinger for pasienter med EGFR-mutasjoner, som viser sykdomsprogresjon til tross for EGFR-TKI behandling med MET-forsterkning. Det kan også endres for hemmere målretting andre molekyler.
