Gut vært-mikrobe interaktioner blev vurderet ved hjælp af en ny tilgang, der kombinerer en syntetisk mundtlige Fællesskabet, in vitro- mave fordøjelse og en model af tyndtarmen epitel. Vi præsenterer en metode, der kan tilpasses til at evaluere celle invasion af patogener og flere arter biofilm, eller selv at teste probiotiske formuleringer overlevelsesevne.
