Hier wird ein Protokoll für das schnelle zerstörungsfreie Screening von Baumwollgenotypen auf reniforme Nematodenresistenz vorgelegt. Das Protokoll beinhaltet die visuelle Untersuchung der Wurzeln von nematodeninfizierten Baumwollsämlingen, um die Infektionsreaktion zu bestimmen. Der vegetative Trieb aus jeder Pflanze wird dann vermehrt, um Pflanzen für die Saatgutproduktion zurückzugewinnen.
