Detta protokoll beskriver en gemensam och genomförbar metod för att inducera akut leverskada (ALI) via CCl4 exponering genom en orogastric röret. CCl4 exponering inducerar ALI genom bildandet av reaktiva syrearter under dess biotransformation i levern. Denna metod används för att analysera patofysiologi ali och undersöka olika leverskyddande strategier.
