Beskrevet her er en effektiv metode til, hvordan man producerer høje virale titer lagre af hepatitis E-virus (HEV) til effektivt at inficere hepatoma celler. Med den præsenterede metode kan både ikke-kappes samt kappede virale partikler høstes og bruges til at vaccinere forskellige cellelinjer.
