Beskrevet her er en effektiv metode for hvordan å produsere høy viral titer bestander av hepatitt E virus (HEV) å effektivt infisere hepatoma celler. Med den presenterte metoden kan både ikke-innkapslede, samt innhyllede viruspartikler høstes og brukes til å inokulere ulike cellelinjer.
