In dit protocol werden varkensspecifieke primers ontworpen, werden plasmidenhoudende varkensspecifieke DNA-fragmenten geconstrueerd en werden standaardkrommen voor kwantificering vastgesteld. Met behulp van soortspecifieke primers werd cpsDNA door qPCR gekwantificeerd in varkens-tot-muisceltransplantatiemodellen en varkens-tot-aap slagaderpatch transplantatiemodellen.
