Natürliche Produkte sind vielversprechende Ausgangspunkte für die Entwicklung neuer Medikamente und therapeutischer Mittel. Aufgrund der hohen chemischen Vielfalt ist es jedoch eine anspruchsvolle und zeitaufwändige Aufgabe, neue therapeutische Verbindungen aus Pflanzen zu finden. Wir beschreiben einen vereinfachten Ansatz zur Identifizierung von antimikrobiellen und antibiofilmen Molekülen aus Pflanzenextrakten und -fraktionen.
