Dit protocol demonstreert een nieuwe methode voor het toepassen van gentherapieën op subpopulaties van cellen bij neonatale ratten in de postnatale leeftijd van 5-10 dagen door een anterograde chemogenetische modifier in de somatomotorische cortex en een retrograde transporteerbaar Cre-recombinase in het cervicale ruggenmerg te injecteren.
