En arbejdsgang til oprettelse af tredimensionelle (3D) virtuelle hybridmodeller er designet baseret på keglestrålecomputertomografidatasæt og intraorale optiske scanninger ved hjælp af radiografiske billedsegmenteringsmetoder og overflademodellering i fri form. Digitale modeller bruges til virtuel planlægning af rekonstruktive dentoalveolære kirurgiske procedurer.
