De muizensnijtand bevat waardevolle labelhoudende cellen in zijn stamcelniche. We hebben een nieuwe manier om de labelvasthoudende cellen onbevooroordeeld te detecteren en te kwantificeren; onze studie gebruikte EdU-etikettering en een 3D-reconstructiebenadering na PEGASOS-weefselverwijdering van de onderkaak.
