Dit protocol beschrijft een methode voor de dissectie van vetdepots van muizen en de isolatie en vertering van de respectieve slagaders om de endotheelcelpopulatie te bevrijden en vervolgens te identificeren. Vers geïsoleerde cellen die worden gebruikt in downstream-toepassingen zullen het begrip van vasculaire celbiologie en de mechanismen van vasculaire disfunctie bevorderen.
