Protokollen beskriver en trinvis metode til opstilling af en ex vivo-model for såret hud, der er inficeret med Staphylococcus aureus. Denne high-throughput-model simulerer bedre infektioner in vivo sammenlignet med konventionelle mikrobiologiske teknikker og præsenterer forskere for en fysiologisk relevant platform til at teste effekten af nye antimikrobielle stoffer.
