Dit protocol beschrijft een methode voor het verkrijgen van kwantitatieve gegevens over de antischimmelactiviteit van peptiden en andere verbindingen, zoals antischimmelmiddelen met kleine moleculen, tegen Candida albicans. Het gebruik van optische dichtheid in plaats van het tellen van kolonievormende eenheden om groeiremming te kwantificeren, bespaart tijd en middelen.
