Een point-of-care echografie (POCUS) is een eenvoudig, niet-invasief en draagbaar hulpmiddel dat dynamische luchtwegbeoordeling mogelijk maakt. Verschillende studies hebben geprobeerd de rol van ultrasone parameters te bepalen als aanvulling op klinisch onderzoek bij het voorspellen van moeilijke laryngoscopieën.
