Præsenteret her er en protokol, der kombinerer en in vitro neurale-Endothelial Co-kultur system og metabolisk inkorporering af sialoglycan med bioorthogonal funktionelle grupper til at udvide primære neurale stamme og stamcelle celler og mærke deres overflade sialoglycoproteiner til billeddannelse eller massespektrometri analyse af celleoverflade markører.
