En hurtig og præcis point-of-care test for invasiv pulmonal aspergillose præsenteres. Den udnytter lateral-flow-teknologi med et specifikt monoklonalt antistof, der binder til en<em> Aspergillus</em> Antigen udskilles under lungeinfektioner. Assayet er kompatibel med serum og brochoalveolar lavage og repræsenterer en hidtil ukendt supplement test for sygdomsdiagnose.
