Een snelle en accurate point-of-care test voor invasieve pulmonale aspergillose wordt gepresenteerd. Het maakt gebruik van laterale-flow technologie met een specifiek monoklonaal antilichaam dat bindt aan een<em> Aspergillus</em> Antigeen uitgescheiden tijdens longinfecties. De test is compatibel met serum en brochoalveolar lavage en vertegenwoordigt een nieuwe adjunct-test voor de diagnose van de ziekte.
