Metamaterial på terahertz frekvenser erbjuder unika möjligheter, men är utmanande att tillverka i bulk. Vi anpassar tillverkningsproceduren för mikrostrukturerade polymer optiska fibrer till billigt fabricera metamaterial potentiellt på en industriell skala. Vi producerar polymetylmetakrylat fibrer som innehåller ~ 10 nm ledningar diameter indium åtskilda av ~ 100 nm, som uppvisar en terahertz plasmoniska svar.
