Apresentamos um método detalhado para estudar a fisiologia placentária humana in vivo a termo. O método combina a amostragem de sangue dos vasos entrantes e de saída nos lados materno e fetal da placenta com medidas de ultra-som do fluxo sangüíneo do volume e amostragem do tecido placentário.
