Hier präsentieren wir ein Protokoll zur Aufzeichnung von rhythmischen neuronalen Netzwerk-Theta und Gamma-Oszillationen aus einer isolierten ganzen Hippocampus-Präparation. Wir beschreiben die experimentellen Schritte von der Extraktion des Hippocampus bis hin zu Details der Feld-, Einheits- und Ganzzell-Patch-Clamp-Aufnahmen sowie der optogenetischen Stimulation des Theta-Rhythmus.
