Se introduce un método para el trasplante omental de islotes en un ratón. Los islotes aislados se mezclan con hidrogel y la mezcla se coloca en la bolsa omental de un ratón diabético. Luego, se controla la glucosa en la sangre, y se realiza el análisis inmuno-histoquímico.
