Vi præsenterer her, og kontrast to protokoller bruges til at decellularize plantevæv: et vaskemiddel-baseret tilgang og et vaskemiddel-fri tilgang. Begge metoder efterlader den ekstracellulære matrix af plantevæv bruges, som derefter kan udnyttes som stilladser for væv ingeniørmæssige anvendelser.
