Vi præsenterer en fluorogenic peptid kavalergang assay, der giver mulighed for en hurtig screening af proteaser proteolytiske aktivitet på peptider der repræsenterer webstedet spaltning af viral fusion peptider. Denne metode kan også bruges på andre aminosyre motiv i en protein sekvens til at teste for protease aktivitet.
