Vi presenterer en komplett protokoll for postmortem diagnose av dyr rabies under feltforhold ved hjelp av en rask immunochromatografisk diagnostisk test (RIDT), fra hjernen biopsi prøvetaking til endelig tolkning. Vi beskriver også ytterligere applikasjoner ved hjelp av enheten for molekylær analyse og viral genotyping.
