Her beskriver vi en metode for å indusere meningokokk meningitt gjennom en intracisternal ruten av infeksjon i voksen mus. Vi presenterer en trinnvis protokoll for meningokokkinfeksjon fra utarbeidelse av inokulum til intracisternal infeksjon; deretter registrere dyret overlevelse og evaluere bakteriell belastninger i murine vev.
