Der CAM-Delam-Assay zur Bewertung der metastasierenden Kapazität von Krebszellen ist relativ schnell, einfach und kostengünstig. Die Methode kann zur Entschlüsselung der molekularen Mechanismen, die die Metastasenbildung regulieren, und zum Drogenscreening eingesetzt werden. Ein optimierter Assay zur Analyse menschlicher Tumorproben könnte eine klinische Methode zur personalisierten Krebsbehandlung sein.
