Dit protocol illustreert een methode voor de beoordeling van de biofysische eigenschappen van peesreparaties ex vivo. Een polytetrafluorethyleen (PTFE) hechtmateriaal werd met deze methode geëvalueerd en vergeleken met andere materialen onder verschillende omstandigheden.
