Detta protokoll beskriver en modifierad och förenklad teknik med en minimalt invasiv transversell aorta constriction (TAC) procedur med hjälp av en självtillverkad retractor. Denna procedur kan utföras utan ventilator eller mikroskop och introducerar trycköverbelastning, vilket så småningom leder till hjärthypertrofi eller hjärtsvikt.
