Her præsenterer vi en metode til at studere Colorado-kartoffelbilledvaletilstand under de naturlige forhold i den tempererede zone samt en teknik til indsamling af biller om vinteren. Denne metode gør det muligt at opnå et ønsket antal overvintrende individer til forskellige analyser på ethvert stadium af dvaletilstand.
