FarnoudAssistant Professor Amir Farnoud obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa followed by postdoctoral training in Microbiology at SUNY-Stony Brook. Dr. Farnoud joined Ohio University in August 2015 where he is currently an Assistant Professor in the department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Research in Dr. Farnoud’s group has been supported by the NIH and the NSF and is primarily focused on the interactions of engineered nanomaterials with biological membranes.
