Biography

Seoyoung is a PhD student in the Department of Biological and Vision Sciences, College of Optometry, State University of New York, New York. She received her undergraduate and a Master of Medical Science from Konyang University, Medical Science School, South Korea.

As a Ph.D. student (since 2019) in Stefanie Wohl's lab at the College of Optometry, State University of New York, she is studying the role of microRNAs in postnatal development with focus on late retinal progenitor cells as well as microRNAs as reprogramming factors.
