Eiwitsynthese is een kritisch biologisch proces voor cellen. In de hersenen is het vereist voor adaptieve wijzigingen. Meting van de tarieven van de eiwitsynthese in de intacte hersenen vereist zorgvuldige methodologische overwegingen. Hier presenteren we de L-[1-14C]-Leucine kwantitatieve autoradiografische methode voor de bepaling van de regionale tarieven van cerebrale eiwitsynthese in vivo.
